I'm sure it's a hoax. The way the pics are taken and the text seem to self aware to be done by someone who is willing to let this happen to them for $10000. I find when you stumble across something as crazy as this that is for real it generally has a genuine creepiness to it. Also, it probably wouldn't be on Tumblr.
