How could you go wrong with tunes like Nina Hagen Dazs, Dames and Food, and My Shitter. Oh yeah, and a cover version of Rock Lobster. |

that is brilliant! I want to do a record release Greasebat so bad...I may have to bother some old pals who are still involved in the music scene for the hook-up. Puke vinyl rules. |

hmm interesting. I love finding new zines to collect. Where as I would go for the book as a secondary option, I'm collector neurotic about original issues. I see only issue #9 available, any idea on a location of original issues and what the total run ended at? |

Copies of issue #9 are for sale at www.esoterra.org for retail. EsoTerra ran for 9 issues, from 1992 until 2001... The book also has a handful of articles that were intended for an issue #10 that never came out. I would recommend buying the book as copies of the magazine are very, very hard to find. Only 100 copies were made of issue #1. Only 300 copies were made of issues #2, #3, and #4. 1000 copies were made of issues #5, #6, #7, and #8. 2000 copies were made of issue #9. Issues #1 through #4 also have silkscreen covers wrapped around the regular cover. If you could find the issues, you would spend a lot more than the $24.95 price tag of the book. |
