I saw the title of this thread and thought it was going to be about the old computer game.

Can anyone explain how 405 is in both CA and OR? It's something that's bugged me for a while. I-405 is probably a 3-mile stretch branching off of I-5 just north of downtown Portland, and then rejoining I-5 just south of downtown. That's it. But yet it's an Interstate and appears again in LA. I don't get it.

It sounds like it should be a Mad Max rip off. But it's not. It's fucking lame construction.

Ha!
I was walking down Curtain Road one day and they were driving him around. I have a couple videos of it. It's pretty impressive.
There was a little dog tied to a post nearby and he was going mental.

There's no such nonsense. Never seen freeways in LA so empty.

i think the freeways are empty because everybody is staying away. It's a nice local holiday. alot of my staff are spending the weekend in town so they don't have to commute, and those who can't are working from home.

I'm going to an art opening in Venice tonight.

Just realized, I got linked to the Hitler video a few days ago,
before I understood what it was about.
I guess it's pretty funny.
Certainly has it's moments:

Felt like the early 80's out there the way you could cruise fast on the hwy without hassle or traffic. LA needs to do this twice a year.

yesterday was such a breeze, so glad one of my last adventures in LA before my move was so stress free... the trip to LAX in 2 weeks certainly won't be.
