I don't know who locked the thread, but I would have myself. We don't condone attacking other members. Keep that to PM's. Not exactly sure what is going on between you and Shig, COOP, MISHKA and L'amour, but none of us really want to see it played out in public on Skullbrain. and pissing on Pushead.... really?

I was about to post that the Pushead x NNN was a test piece to see how the paint reacted over Shigs base paint app and as such may have affected your opinion but the 'Pushead is a wanker statement' seems to show you're just trolling or posting drunk again? Hey ho! |

I don't think Coops snooty "you people" type remarks have a place on this board either ...and i fully agree with Chad: there are some valid points brought up but the form (f-bombing etc...) discredits the message. I think toy appreciation can include negative criticism as long as it is not hateful. I love Pushead and wouldn't have joined this board if it wasn't for him (my first post : " So where's the Skull Captain !), but i can understand if people dislike his toy painting style, it really is an acquired taste...my first reaction was sorta like : " This extraordinary draughtsman is dribbling paint all over lovely sculpts...WTF !!!" ...now i quite like them but i can understand why some peolpe would not. I don't mind if some peole look for a pile of hamburgers where others see sacred cows... |

I have to admit being a huge pushead fan forever, but anytime I see people raving over his hand paints I totally don't get it. The customizers on this board (I'm sad to say) could blow almost all of them out of the water, but they are trumpeted as masterpieces. The original handpaint KvP had some real gems as well as the painted flocked skullwings but other than that. eh. No talk about the Nag, my god, what will he do for hype then? And I'm taking it I'm never getting my hug from COOP with that thread locked.

Just a bunch of talking of who got one, who didn't, people complaining how there should be more, then it drove into a tangent about other people's art. Feeding the hype machine. In the old days, it was considered bad form to attack other board members in PM-land versus out in the open. I had one of the original Nags and ended up trading it cause of all of the bullshit and hype. I find it funny that people actually put others on ignore. What I said about Pushead and his handpaints a few messages ago. |

Alice is a Nag made me laugh. Go Alice. Go Nag. Can we stop calling him Shig please. It makes it sound as if you know him personally. For the record I still want a glow Coop x Nag. There is no doubt to any reasonable, approaching 300 page reader, that Coop and the Mishka crew have co-opted the Nag big time. But I appreciate what they have done and continue to do. If the creator is ok with it, and it seems he is, I support that. Keep it up. Alice's comments are insightful and funny. Coop and the moderators continue to prove they are overly sensitive. More art Mr.Cooper, please. (And a pic of the Ghost Wharhol.) Calling Pushead a wanker is blasphemy. |
