I don't like the cupcakes stuff (trailer posted above was well-made though) but I genuinely LOVE the show and I grew sick to my stomach when I first found out he was gone and I couldn't shake it the rest of the day...total bullshit. thankfully he and I are still in contact, if I couldn't have made that happen I dunno what I'd do |

Banned? Wasn't he just "having his say", so to speak? |

Alice would be proud. Personally I don't get it. But we must keep hope alive. coma21 wrote: i know this is slightly off topic but i am really trying to fight getting sucked into this brony thing... but i find myself slipping more and more |

the uploader I've been watching Friendship is Magic through on YouTube is MenloMarseilles but one or two out of the 26 eps seem to have dropped slightly in quality, dunno why. I can't remember the last time since I got into the show that I've gone a day without watching at least favorite clips from episodes. season 2 cannot come soon enough, but I'm very nervous about it as well. a lot of the existent merch I don't care for, the stuff with real hair for manes will never look right, but I did go for these minis. I'm too lazy at the moment to fully explain (because I have in a LOT of different places) but because of oddities with distribution and production of this particular line-up I decided to just spring for a whole case full of duplicates ![]() my favorite character though, at the time, could only be had as a European market-exclusive blind-bagged repaint of one of the characters in that case (stupid because she's just as much a main character as any of the 5 US-distributed characters), and she ended up costing me nearly half the cost of that case on her own |

let me clarify before I talk further I'm only into the newest series Friendship is Magic and I'm not familiar with any of the older MLP stuff, it looks mostly unappealing but I will give it its fair shot eventually. coma21 wrote: ok so sell me on it guys push me over the edge what has got so many boys going brony for me it was a pretty simple attraction at first, the animation and voice acting are beyond adorable and addicting...and save for the select few episodes focused on a younger trio of ponies it's absolutely not the stuff I'd think most people might assume it's full of when they hear "my little pony" and think "oh it's some annoying little girls' show". those three words only precede the title of the show because they have to and I don't even think they really fit. it gets better and better beyond the aesthetic appeal though. they deal with some fairly cool mythological creatures that also inhabit Equestria. the music scores are awesome too. but the first thing about the show to REALLY amaze me is something I won't spoil that comes along quite far in season one that explains the special connection the main cast had before they all ever knew each other. for me it made a somewhat unappealing (occasionally bitchy) character stand out as significant and rad beyond words. the episode itself where all this happens has bits that could have been done better, but the idea of it left me almost speechless. that event and other stuff throughout the show have all been so unbelievable cool, cute, or hilarious to me that for a while when I was first finishing up the season, if I was playing a videogame or trying to watch some other show, I'd occasionally have to stop, take a breath, focus and get it out of my system how much I love these ponies. the musical bit in the season finale (which I found otherwise a rather boring episode) can make me tear up a bit. it just goes on and on this is practically all I do in my free time anymore |
