Yeah, that mug is awesome. I hop the US stores do this...couldn't find anything on the Krispy Kreme site, though. |

Do they still give you a free donut while you're waiting in line? They used to do that at the one here and after I ate it, I realized I didn't want a donut as bad as I thought I did and would leave. Maybe that's why the store closed. |

Halloween donuts are kind of a neat idea, but honestly, I never understood the Krispy Kreme craze. Their donuts are really pretty awful. |

you've never had the pleasure of stuffing six hot-off-glazing-machine krispy kremes in your mouth all at once? |

Krispy Kreme destroys Dunkin Donuts. Never understood how people could "settle" for Dunkin Donuts. First I don't even think they make them on site, second they barely put in any cream (maybe a thumbnail full) or much icing on top. DD has awful donuts. KK has much better and fresher donuts. If you really are into donuts (I definitely am) your best bet is a local store or supermarket. Wegmans and Tops here in Buffalo have amazing donuts, but by far the best donuts I have had since I was a kid would have to be Paula's here in Buffalo. So filled with cream that when you bite into one it comes gushing out the sides. In fact there is more cream than donuts in them. Anyhow sorry to derail I'm just a bit of a donut connoisseur. |

Nah thats cool. I actually prefer Giant supermarkets doughnuts, I was raised on DD, but I never was a fan of KK. |

Krispy Kreme all the way. Dunkin doughnuts always tasted like they were a week old to me... They just opened a new KK down the street from me and I actually called them about this mug today and of course the dipshit kid that answered had no clue what I was talking about... |

The best donuts to me are the ones you can get at cider mills during peek apple season - little cake donuts fried fresh all day long, served by the dozen in brown paper bags. Crispy at the center and pillowy-soft the rest of the way round! The aroma is incredible, and by the time you walk the comfortingly warm sack over to the tree where your people are waiting with a big jug of cider, the grease has lightly soaked a familiar pattern into it's folds. As good last Fall as they were when I was a pup. Krispy Kreme finally showed up in Michigan a few years ago. I skip them outright most of the time, but every once in a while I get a craving for the piercingly sweet taste of one of their glazed crullers. You really can't do much worse than a Dunkin Donut. They taste mostly of air, corn syrup and yesterday's paper. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Krispy Kreme SUCKS! Most times I'd rather NOT eat a donut at all than eat one of theirs. I'd ALWAYS prefer an Entenmann's chocolate frosted cake "donut" (they're not donuts at all!) to a KK donut - that's how badly KK sucks at making donuts. |

Entenmann's = KK = Voodoo or Tonali's = (I think that's probably the most emoticons I've ever used in a single post. |

When dealing with Entenmann's it's best to stick to the cakes. Not as good as I remember as a kid in Jersey due to them making them much smaller and charging a hell of lot more for them but still worth it. |

I have never had Tonali's. Looks like i'll have to take another trip up to PDX. I'm lucky to have Donut Man here in Glendora. They have these strawberry donuts that are just ridiculous.

The bacon maple bar i had in Portland at voodoo was AMaZIng. Personally i prefer the mom n pop shops we have in town vs. the chain donut shops. |
