Melt-Banana THIS Friday in CT

Melt-Banana returns to The Space in Hamden Connecticut
Friday, October 28 2011
With Tera Melos and Fugue
http://www.thespace.tk/shows/

I posted this in the Tourist area for New York but figured not everyone checks those postings.
Melt-Banana played here back in 2009 and it was a great show.
Incredibly LOUD. Band was tight and the bass player was amazing.
I'm sure this year Halloween will be in full effect (costumes).

If anyone wants to meet for trades at the show just PM me.
I have a surplus of Microman and Micronaut related toys.
I'm interested in unpainted Gargamel stuff but I like all kinds of toys.

Ha love Melt Banana, great band! Haven't seen them in quite a while and haven't heard they're latest stuff but I remember them being quite loud (no way as loud as Lightning Bolt I once saw them with). Hope they tour again this side of the globe sooner or later.

Damn, I've seen the Lightning Bolt twice here in CT
but a show with both these bands would be awful good.

BTW:

They played a two song encore that included "Monkey Man" which is a Specials cover.

Actually this is a Toots & the Maytals cover.

Yeah, tbh honest Melt live play a very tight, fast and powerful set: I would recommend taking along some earplugs  Hope that all those that make it to the gig have one hell of a night!!
Re: Lightning Bolt, The Power of Salad is a great DVD and one to watch if you've missed it and into the band.
