I just got a great idea, for a shop! Ok, a shop where you can buy any toy you like, from any company or artist. You also can buy the toys, that are only being sold at Conventions. The prices should be under 500$, for each toy. We should call the shop Yahoo Japan, and keep the forengeres out! That way they have to spend crazy money and come to Japan themself, and spend crazy money, while they are her, to pay extra crazy money cause they are turist! What is wrong with those people? Why don't they open up? Peace out |

Also, let's not forget from nearly every era too. And while we are at it, let's have said store only accept bank transfers from certain Japanese institutions, and also charge monthly membership dues to achieve the 'prestige' to shop in this store, which can only accepted from Japanese credit cards. Wait, how should be run the payments for item? Maybe just in our own overvalued currency, like kaiju-bucks? |

I am very thankful for Yahoo Japan and my proxy service. Without which I would not have most of my vintage toys. And I agree with akum6n on the lazy part. If you are patient and do the dirty work, you can find some really great deals. And, if it was easier, imagine how many people would be on there bidding everything up. Now, the exchange rate on the other hand, is not my friend right now. |

Ah, we are just kidding around guys, take it easy. Personally I think YJA is a virtual mecca for nearly every sofubi I am looking for, which is especially vintage. There is just no way you can get most (if any) of these guys outside Japan. I don't think laziness has anything to do with it. And as for bidding auctions up, I don't get that at all. More collectors than are already in Japan you say? I only wish it were a bit more user-friendly for us international folk is all. And c'mon, if we can't lay a gripe or two out on skullbrain, what is this world coming to? |

Nothing against either of you. And nothing was meant personally or in any kind of accusatory way. Just expressing another point of view from the original post. Although it is a little difficult, I was just expressing my perceived up side to YJA. ultrakaiju wrote: Ah, we are just kidding around guys, take it easy.
