I was trying to find some thread to appropriately put this in, but I decided to dedicate a full thread to found vintage monster art, ads, posters, insert and whatnot. Old Monster Magazine covers, Godzilla model box covers, whatever! What stirred this post is I found this. Truly amazing. Life of a monster make-up artist.

That is truly amazing! Its sad that hardly any posters, adverts, packaging etc is hand painted these days, theres something more charming and pleasing about it. |

You've set the bar alarmingly high! I'm going to have to let this one cool down for awhile before I dare post anything from my comparably pitiful archive... Wait, scratch that --- this can't compare, but it makes me very happy nonetheless:  Fantastic idea for a thread! Hard to believe it took this long for one to crop up. |
