A friend suggested we watched the pilot. Good God, what a bunch of cliched, hackneyed, boring bollocks. And especially bad acting from the Lost dude. He fell asleep and I got on Skullbrain. It's still on.

How come the decent shows (Rubicon on AMC, Prime Suspect - which wasn't a patch on the original, but had a blievable good strong female lead', etc...) get cancelled and we get shoddy crap like this .... Sigh. JJ Abrams what were you thinking.

Someone needs to stop Abrams from making shows. And tell him not every show has to be some mysterious crazy thing with a plot no one really knows. I turned it off after a half hour I think. It was horrible.

I don't usually watch new shows. I'm always like 10 years behind on TV -Have you guys heard of this show Buffy!?

But I gave this a chance and it stunk. I lost interest pretty quickly.

Good to know. I saw a preview and said that looks interesting but will probably suck. Glad to see I did not waste my time. Carl also (to add to good shows being cancelled) Why do they fire good directors/showrunners, slash budgets on proven winners (i.e. Walking Dead) and give a season of crap (season 2) instead? Doh!

I'll save you 6 or so years of valuable tv watching time .... Some guys escape, Alcatraz gets closed down. There was a guy w some birds. And God & The Bible. The End. It's like a prequal to the movie 'The Rock'.

JJ Abrams has all ur money to go shopping at Star Case with.

do need to finish Rubicon, that was a good one what I saw of it.

I wonder how the next rebooted Star Trek movie will turn out. The first one got a pass for being very entertaining à la "Wrath of Khan" but I dunno ... Abrams seems to excel at starting with a good idea and then proceeding to muck it up.

Pilot was ehhh.. it is nice seeing LOST cast members on new shows.

I am anxious to see Star Trek 2 or whatever it will be called. I usually have positive expectations for JJ Abrams work.
