真 - "shin", it means real or true...

at least this is what I have been lead to believe.

so if you got one of those and one with a heart coin for your girl for valentines day, you win!

that's actually what got me into Real x Head last year... and subsequently how I found my way here a month later.

lol yea, I have a box of about 20 kitties. I could've swore I had one with a heart symbol to give to that special someone, but I guess not. I did find a kitty with a red collar and ^that symbol up there which should suffice.... But I was really hoping this symbol meant love or something like that haha

愛 - "ai" would be love. Lulubell makes those.

Personally I always liked Shef's choice of Kanji on the coin – 夢 Dream

I find Kanji fascinating . . . . Datadub wrote this a while ago . . . .

Shinto Gangu = RxH store in Aoto, Tokyo.

Shin(真)meaning Real or True
To (頭) meaning Head
Gangu (玩具) which is the traditional Japanese word for Toy.

Most of the fortune cats have either a single Shin character or the 2 characters for Shinto on them.
This shouldn't be confused with Shinto (神道 Shintō) which is the natural spirituality of Japan and the Japanese people.

i seem to remember something about this being a different rxh store, but i could be (and likely am) wrong about that.
(but all my eel cats have this on the coin...)

citing Datadub again, the original cats were sold at Alrt. Tokyo and had 柴又 Shibamata, which is where the store is located. The eels sold elsewhere have 青砥 Aoto on them.

Just tell her it it's "Real" & "True" love.
