While we're at it, how the hell did HK_Toys get a Mockbat to sell? (Auction is over). It has to be hard to be Paul, or _______ <(Insert toymakers name here), and hear so much praise, all the while not knowing who's really a fan, or who's being disingenuous.

Post subject:  Re: oust the flipper

let me take a second to explain why I did this. I understand many of us flip a toy every now and then. This is a very expensive hobby after all. What bothers me though, are those who are on the board with one name and on ebay with another because they are up to no good. I just think people should know who they are dealing with so they can decide on their own what to do. I mean if you knew someone was on ebay flipping stuff would you sell to them here for a good price? This is not intended to bash people, but only to have full disclosure.

So the thread is really "Out the flipper!" :D

Solid idea for a thread - hope it helps.

My eBay handle is different than the one I have here, but I haven't used it in any king of sales capacity since '08!

I need actual names, so I know who not to sell to.

Just flip your shit on the BST, people do it all the time and never get shit because it's not on ebay.

I'd like to know who viciouslyfun and shhimaninja are. They're here and they're SSSS for sure.

edit: I was wrong, I'd like to know as well.
I do remember someone calling out whoever is viciouslyfun on here before though....?

Post subject:  Re: oust the flipper

this will be good to know who you are selling to and who you are buying something from.

it would suck to sell something cheap to try to help someone else get it and then have it turned around and get sold for a profit.

the entertainment value of this thread is merely a bonus. :D

real names and address would help but might be crossing a legal boundary. I don't know for sure? As much as I would love to include it, that info might be best shared privately.

wasnt viciouslyfun ridlped? I could be mistaken

Ooooh, interesting. Mind you, viciouslyfun has super cheap toys, regularly priced ones, and flipperdom paradise ones.

I get that people are still offended by flippers and all (though I don't get the whole Chaos thing), but hasn't the so-called "market" pretty much collapsed except for a few lines? I mean, the whole Grody thing lasted what, two months? Bemons are already going for much lower, so there's only a handful that command flipper prices...

My eBay handle was my username here, but since it's also my email and eBay won't let you use an email that is your username (for some unknown reason), I had to change it (I'm takodesu, now). I'm now free to fliiiiiiip.

Oh I certainly wouldn't suggest providing real names and addresses. Just noting that we're taking everyone at their word here.

Good point. Well, one of xphillips' fiascos is documented here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20956&hilit=emupaiya+heater&start=150

i hope htis would help get more toys into collectors hands...

given there is times i need to thin the collection... i always offer it at what i paid + paypal/shipping fees, and many times i end up biting the bullet and taking a hit on what i paid. It annoys me when I see boss' Ollies' in the $3-500 range... especially since I would love to have them on my shelf!

it annoys me too that a mockbat was flipped... because not many have even dropped!

Maybe we can just be open about our own ebay handle and leave it at that. I don't have anything to hide.

speed_store_hk is killerj and/or his "friend"

I've always wanted to know who thebatmancollector is. He's gone back into the batcave for now...

Also, they are very smart. For example, not including the header in the nzombii photo or using a stock photo for a mecha gorilla ju so you can't identify them via the missile

vinylmaster1717 is riddleped. Still trying to flip that hierophany

What's weird is that he had a Larry resin one-off for only $40 shipped, buy it now. I almost bought it but the photo was dark and I was worried there was something wrong with it.
