I just read an article where he endorses Rick Santorum for president... |

He's a born again Christian pastor. he didn't technically endorse Santorum, just agreed that santorum was the one whose ideals are closest to his own. He made that differentiation on an NPR show I listen to. it's so weird. born again people voting for a catholic. "We'll vote for you but you're still going to burn in hell when the rapture comes" |

i had no idea that a) mustane is now a born again pastor (does he preach while slurring and speeing spittle like he sings?), and 2) catholics are ineligible for the rapture. what a weird world. |

He also said Obama wasn't born in the US. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2012 ... taine.html Your politics are way more entertaining than ours. Not that I'd want to live over there, but it's fun from afar. |

When I saw Anthrax, Megadeath, and Slayer a few years ago, Mustaine did not say a single word about his religious or political views while on-stage. Good move. |

I don't want to hear a musician/artist/actors views on politics or religion even if I agree with them. Just shut up and do what I paid for. |

I went to see In Flames & Children of Bodom on a Thursday so I wouldn't have to pay to see Megadeth on Gigantour =P |

We were at the opening party to Strangeland, and he asked us all to "hold hands and pray". Since the movie paid for my plane ticket, I drank the koolaid. |

You know me man; I'll get into any dumb situation just for the story; so when the chance to pray to the Jesus with the guy who sang burn in hell comes up.... It's just like that time with the 45 year old South African hooker in Amsterdam... you just do it. |
