29-year old Ikuo Yokoyama got a bit of a shock after learning that his classic Harley, lost along with his home and all of his possession in last year's tragic tsunami, was recovered washed ashore on a small Haida Gwaii island off the coast of BC.

A very interesting story, and one that made a bit of a change in my day. A great bike, and I hope [as much as Yokoyama-san and his family have serious issues to worry about] that it could be reunited with its owner some day. This would make a great chance for HD to grab a hold of this story and offer a rebuild for him.

More on the story in Japanese here.

That's a pretty cool story. Now I waiting (in vain because it will never happen or be reported) for the one where the plastic container of rare sofubi washes up on shore.
