I'm no economist but if you want to have complete and utter outrage on the financial system that exists and plagues the average person today watch these (it's a heavy commitment as it's almost 4 hours): http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline ... ll-street/ I've always been a fan of Frontline. It's a PBS show so it's not as skewed as your average corporate run media outlet. Basically it takes you through how the world financial crisis developed, how the incoming President had an opportunity to seriously reform Wall St but was persuaded by Geithner not to, then goes into just how greedy these people were. How years of deregulation led to the merging of financial institutions to shady investment banking, how derivatives were sold by people with no knowledge of them to people with even less knowledge of them. Bilking millions of people out of money. Basically my blood pressure rose tenfold just watching it. |

They all need to be strung-up!! Watch "Inside Job" basically the same thing your talking about, Chris...Really good Movie! Every damn one of them needs to be in jail, made my blood boil when I watched this.. Sorry Fuckers!!! People can say what they want but the President doesn't run the country, he does what the BIG bankers and federal reserve tell him to do!! |
