hey everyone, just wanted to let you know i have a new tape out (free DL)...

i combined my love for dirty beats and old monster shows on this one. sourcing primarily from old video tapes of sci-fi and kaiju films, the VHS beat tape blends other-worldly movie samples with dusty chopped drum breaks. twelve beats recorded live from two sp samplers to a tascam four-track tape recorder. super awesome album design by walter parenton (I Am The Fourth, IV).

i also did up a limited run of 32 cassettes for the release, dubbed in real time on an old kenwood tape deck.

This is some pretty awesome stuff. Going back to your other releases too, I'm digging it all so far. I'll download them all later when I'm on a real computer.

That's exactly what I thought! It's like MF Doom Special Herbs x Geedorah, The Sequel! LOVE it! Brings back that dusty old, nostalgic hip hop that once was. Dope.
And that Devilman track KILLS!

I just ordered a tape. This sounds awesome. I still have a tape deck in my '73 mustang and I have several old boom boxes throughout the house. I can't wait to get this. Thanks again!!

Just ordered. Thanks Adam. Last summer I would go on runs/bike rides and listen to III repeatedly. It's surprisingly meditative.

Can't wait to do the same with VHS.

After my first full listen: Love it! The end of Godzilla Stomp is awesome. :) I only wish this tape were longer, and I wish it didn't have the f-bomb because that makes it impossible to listen to with the wife around. :P

I have my tape in the basement boom box down in the basement. LOVE it. Nice work! It has been my soundtrack down there for the last week. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer also.
