For a Yellow Gorilla Biscuits Proto sold by Pogue!

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!

So much for ever getting one of my grails... at least for now.

Bananas. Absolutely bananas. I've been watching the auction, and really thought that it would stop when it got to ~$800 (because that is crazy enough).

I checked in on that when it was $820 and I thought that was an insane amount.

Good way to turn what I'm sure was a gift into $1000+ pure profit. Congratulations, Glenn Pogue, on being an even bigger douche than once imagined.

This dudes douchebaggery has been around looooong before this and the other incident(s). He's done shit like this all along. He's notorious for flipping items he's received as gratus or by other means. He's always been untrustworthy and seedy. Why Super7 decided to hire the guy I'll never know. Probably a conspiracy

Didn't the same thing happen last year with another ex-employee? About twenty gift protos on eBay?

I'm really shocked that GB vinyl is selling that high regardless of who's selling it. I guess straight edge kids got all that money they saved on drinking and drugging. :)

I knew he was a dingleberry, but like a lot of others, I once thought 'the guy worked for Super7 -- he's got to be cool, right!'

While I can see how completists or huge Gorilla Biscuits fans would salivate over this, it sucks to see that someone get fucked for that amount. If this really was a gift, as I suspect it and the others to be, that's even worse. Can you really put a price on that, especially since it's, for all intents and purposes, unobtainable?

Sad, really. What's even sadder is that this scumbag is still around. Hopefully his collection is dwindling and he disappears. But where'd all of his RxH go?

I don't know, I was probably not in 'collecting mode,' at the time. Are there any further details on that?

Are you talking about Scott ?

I think that was figured out to be what he kept to make sales from to make up for other stuff S7 owed him and given the ok by the S7 guys ?

I could be wrong though as I don't fully remember.

Ah yes it was Scott. Fuzzy memory. I did a search and the drama is all here actually: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=37469&

You can agree or not, but Brian said he was "disappointed" he had chosen eBay over sb. As for Glenn...

look at it this way, if the GB proto was sold here, the buyer wouldn't see it until next year anyway =P

Only after a whole campaign to get it sent to the person who paid for it.

I don't want to defend glenn as he seems like not a standup guy when it comes to sales on the BST, but some dumbasses had to bid that up to that price.I'd rather spend $500 and have CIV tattoo the ape on me. Also slipstar, I'm sure it was someone who is straightedge, because they are the one's dropping 1k plus on nags too.

HAHA, I love how I actually asked myself "I wonder what his ebay name is?" and then went over there to look for this item. Wow, thats kinda ballsy to post that stuff with that ebay user name. Kinda putting it all out there.

After getting the run around from Glenn for months I'm the last person who would defend him but c'mom, how did that person get fucked for that amount? It was an auction and a couple of boneheads got into a bidding war. If that person got fucked then they fucked themselves. This was not a Buy It Now situation and he asked for a $1000 price. This was the market speaking and unfortunately it contains some deep pocketed fans of yellow and Gorilla Biscuits.

I was pretty surprised his Finkshits only sold for $50 each. I'm kicking myself for not buying at least one of them :?

I don't think any toy is 'worth' nearly that much. But you're absolutely right, it is entirely up to personal discretion on how much you're willing to pay.

Same here. I thought about bidding, but couldn't get past the thought of giving that piece of shit any of my money.

S7 employees have been trading or selling their gifts for years. Nothing new.

Yeah but a lot of them have been cool about it and sold them for reasonable prices...or at least what I've bought has been.

I have no idea if any of this is related (absence, S7 status), but I've recently purchased a couple of things from him that have yet to be shipped, so I e-mailed him directly when my last PM went unread for a bit over a week. He replied the next day apologizing and let me know he'd get on it, but gave no reason behind the delay, not that I need one. So there's that.

Difference is I owned a Super7 store and used the proceeds of all of the inventory sold/liquidated (including the unpainted figures- which were paid for incidentally) to pay off each and every artist and creditor we did business with in full.

I'll take being called a douchebag in public any day, if it means I'm able to be a stand-up person to those I befriend and do business with.
