Hey Guys, I'm making a mash-up and the arms that I MUST (artistic choice) use are off a vintage toy, Well, I went to take off the arms and one ended up fine and the other tore in the flange...I think because the vinyl is so old and hard. So I've tried two types of glue, one being Crazy Glue and nothing even comes close to doing anything...not even making it sticky, it's like Im putting water on and half hour later I take off the rubber bands and it comes right apart again. Any advise? Can I melt it together again? Help, anyone. Todd 310-925-7739 |

Is it clear? Can you just tape it? Bring it by, maybe we can figure it out. |

I remember an old thread Joe posted where he had a vintage toy with a torn arm. He stuffed the arm with one of those very dense sponges and gave it a firm filling. It seemed like a good solution. Let me see if I find the thread. edit. whadayaknow! Found it immediately viewtopic.php?f=30&t=29387&hilit=torn |
