Signed up for a gold account and have a question for bidding.

Is it like ebay where you can snipe. Or is there the 1/2 hour extension where the second higest bidder can bid again?

Sniping is kinda considered to be poor sportsmanship over here... it's not considered RFSO.

We generally follow the following rule on YJA: If a board member is bidding on an object, don't bid against them unless you REALLY want it (like you've been looking for a year for it), and even then, try contacting them first and politely ask if they are serious about the item before placing a bid.

Blatent sniping or outbidding fellow boardmembers isn't going to win you many favors here.

No! Bad Parka! No biscuit!

Either search the listings for another listing for the item, or contact the established bidder first... it's the courteous thing to do. Plus it helps all of us in the long run to help keep bidding prices down - We don't want the sellers in Japan to think we'll pay insane prices for the stuff.

It was just a question. I guess you didnt read the thread where I adressed this with Geo.

But if you didnt .... I'm against sniping ESP. with RFSO memebers. I will get you the link :

Hope this helps how I feel.

And ask anyone I always ask if they mind or not and work it out before I bid.

+1. To each his own, but, we list our ebay and YJA names to stay off each others Kool-Aid.
