I just rented Ooga booga last night from red box and wow this movie was so bad it was good. Fullmoon still puts out such fun garbage. Im assuming this was Karen Black's last movie. Cool to see her still fighting little zulu dolls

great movie! i was really surprised to see it in the red box. and charles band is a schlock genius, even with all the controversy surrounding his name over the last couple weeks... |

Charles Band learned about the vhs collecting community, and that his old wizard big box titles were catching high dollars. so, he happened to "find" a bunch of the unused boxes in a warehouse somewhere, and released them with reproduction tapes and inner clams. sold them on his site for $50 a pop. being that the boxes were the main reason many collectors collected these, and that the boxes were always pretty damaged, i think a lot of people were planning on upgrading their boxes with these new "old stock" boxes, giving them a mint condition original. turns out it was all a con, and the boxes were reprints. here's a pretty impressive investigation video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC6Dc1QMK1w and here's an even better follow up after Band claimed these accusations were ludicrous: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95umkdPtrpE and then there is all the racial stir over the "The Gook" doll, a statuesque figure from the Badass Dolls toyline (ooga booga characters)... |

 I just just on Fullmoon direct the other night and almost orderd a few tapes then realized I didn't need them that bad. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I was watching that black devil doll auction. $667 for any tape is nuts! Being that it was strongly decided to be a booteg was the extra kicker!
