thanks all! i was just about to post this in the silly gif thread

i didnt make this, but a friend of mine did. im pretty much in outer space when it comes to digital art stuff, but my friend kindly explained it:

" It's called a "Displacement Map" in After Effects. You make a Displacement Map (bump map), basically a topographical map of your drawing in greyscale, in Photoshop. With a good bit of trial-and-error (hopefully less with time), you adjust your bump map so the right things pop forward. The bump maps are surprisingly accurate, they pick up the slightest change in value. Black = push back, White = push forward, for the bump map painting."

seems simple, but what do i know

Screw the masks, this would be a better head than 90% of the stuff on here these days.

Are you tightly wound or what?
Let me just start off by saying it could've been a full gamut of things from a figure, to a bust, to just simply- a head.
Personally, I view Michael as talented artist ( not just a toy artist) he could be making a multitude of work and doesn't have to be limited to just toys.
In order for someone to be mentally there with you, you need to verbalize your thoughts otherwise it's just confusing. No need to be condescending or be snappy cuz i have no problem giving it right back. We should be here supporting him and not being a negative nancy.
