Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars The Motion Picture is on Palladia.
A Doors Live show was on earlier to honor Ray Manzarek.

Yeah been a rough week. Sad about Trevor.

But Ray.

The Doors, and Ray's sound were a staple of my childhood.

My Dad wanted to see them but he didn't get tickets. He drove to the Hollywood bowl with My Mom and I (I was 2!) and they listened from the lot.

I also remember bringing a Doors Record to school for listening day. Oh boy.

Then on to working with X, and filling a gap of Los Angeles generations.
Just an incredible stream of work.

Yep, loved them since i was a young teen. My mates and i even liked Ray's album 'The Golden Scarab'. I still listen to The Doors regularly today.

R.I.P Raymond.

That is awesome. My dad ran away to Nashville with his brothers when he was a teenager, to try to be a hillbilly star. Didn't go as planned!

The Doors... I had it weird growing up, my sister is 3 years older than me so I liked what she liked. As a little kid- bubblegum pop/AM gold, then she got into New Wave/early punk, then turned me on to US Hardcore punk... but through all that I always liked the Doors. I'm gonna see if my daughter will dig them when she grows out of her tween boy band phase (not soon enough!).
