Keep it to the kind of toys this forum discusses. |

My apologizes. I've mostly only read the threads that come up on "Balzac" searches. I thought these were "vintage" and one is Japanese. I saw Transformers in the collections of people here. Oh, well, still got lots to learn. . |

The first step is acceptance. Just don't do it again. ;] |

Well, I thought a toy is a toy. Is it because these are for kids, not adults? Or they came in bubble packages and were sold in stores, not bags sold online? Sorry, but I'm a stranger here and only know the world of Balzac. I came here to get info and buy skullmen. I thought, hey maybe these guys would like these toys. Again, I'm sorry for offending people with this thread. I checked the rules and FAQ before posting. I'm feel dumbfounded and confused. So good-night for now. |

So are the POTF SW figures, abominations that they are. Still, free pass to anyone selling Beefcake Lukes or Monkey Face Leias. They are national treasures. |

Those were actually shoplifted by my brother from a K-Mart in the 90s. He got caught, though. Not sure how he ended up with the toys. The transformers were his as well. The Simpsons were mine. The Japanese one, my friend married the artist who makes them, so sometimes he gives his works. I feel bad about selling it, but I'm not interested in anime and have limited shelf space. |

I was trying to give you a pass on this, but now you are telling us you are selling stolen goods? Not cool at all. It is one thing to try and sell stuff you have no idea about, but that is crossing a line that anyone here will tell you is unwelcome. A lot of people on this board have been victims of theft, and nearly everyone has worked hard to afford to build up their collections. To try and profit off these toys is pretty awful. It is a safe bet that if there were other toys, or even slightly more expensive, you'd be banned from the board altogether. |

It is a safe bet that if there were other toys, or even slightly more expensive, you'd be banned from the board altogether. They were not stolen. In 1996, my brother was busted at a K-Mart for trying to steal those. They either made him buy them or my parents bought them. Either way, they were paid for. Selling them for $5 is not profiting. Anything less than $5 isn't worth it for me to make a package and go to the post office, so that's why everything was $5. I have no idea regarding the value of any of these. I have been the victim of theft too, 4 times. I am a record collector and most of my collection was stolen when I was working in Japan, no doubtably by my brother's friends. |

I missed the actual posting, but gather what was listed from comments... I think I've pretty much figured out what is and is not kosher to sell around here. The one company I'm confused about is Max Toy... Seems like I've seen pics of Eyezon's, Tripus's, Capt Max etc pop up in 'Wants' or Collection pics. But something got posted in Sales the other day, and everybody broke out GIF's. Is this because most of Max Toy line is made in China (ie: not Japanese vinyl)? Could a board member (with some seniority) shed some light on this for me? Sorry to derail your thread Moonbeams, but the sale is over now... so I'm not really sorry |
