HA! http://diterlizzi.com/home/owlbears-rust-monsters-and-bulettes-oh-my/ Fuckin' cool... and a bit of a mindblow for me, as I clearly remember having these toys when I was very young, but never made the visual connection when I got into D&D and began poring over the Monster Manuals, scant years later... |

That is some crazy info. I remember having a small army of these figures. |

FANTASTIC share, Mitch! Especially relevant for me, this particular week, as I've been spending much of my free time in Harmontown:

He simply couldn't accept a "No". Lame. |

Oh man, extra lame. Seems no matter where you go on the interwebs, the trolls and weirdos are sure to be residing as well. Anyhow, I have always loved these cheap monster toys of all sorts, but I had no clue about the DnD connection either, though I don't recollect ever seeing the art before. Weird I have not heard about it from any other toy sources too. Thanks for sharing the article! |

I'm gonna be on the lookout for them. |

They actually get listed on eBay as "Chinasaur" from time to time. |

Wow, freaking flashbacks for me. Thanks for posting this! I recall trying to bend the bird guys head to try to get it to look forward. I didn't see how he could fly looking off in the distance like that! |
