is there any way to block the porn items? I know there's an 18 option but it still lists some and occasionally it doesn't work.

I think it's more related to your searches. I've never seen any porn on Mandarake. Even with the 18and up filter turned off.

Sometimes adult images displayed in Mandarake, even with the filter turned on.
What bothers me even more; are some photos of girls (6-12 years) in swimsuit posing like an adult publication. Actually I do not know if is a children's publications or some kind of catalog. Even send a letter to Mandarake to tell them what I did not seem right that they sell such images because these images could fall into the hands of someone sick, but never received a response.

Ok, I will give Opera a try, but as for the 18 section -don't even go there! I think this little robot guy pretty much sums it up;

I tried opera but not sure yet if it works yet, what browsers do other people use? could it be a problem with cache or settings with explorer?
I complained a number of times as well but rarely got an answer. The staff are friendly but I don't think they can do much because you would have to talk to the manager.
I would imagine most toy collectors don't want anything to do with the dodgyer side of Japanese porn /comics etc whether its online or in Japan, certainly its an embarrassment if you were to shop with your friends or family and really puts a downer on Japanese culture.
There should be a poll or something to point out people don't want anything to do with that weird shit in the toy community & someone might take notice?

I said what said. If anywhere in Japan does toddler rape comics etc its shit and is an embarrassment to decent Japanese culture that has nothing to do with it.

Dude, that's a 3D catalog from the early 1980s. If you don't like porn stop looking at questionable doujinshi mangas.

Post subject:  Re: Banned From Mandarake

yeah, obviously that's not actual doujinshi because it cant be shown here!
Don't tell me your all nonces? Christ almighty!

There are a bunch of Mandarake stores that list things online... so good luck getting "the manager", of all the stores, to change their listing policy due to a minute portion of the thousands and thousands of items they deal with, when they already have a filter in place. How ignorant to judge an entire country's culture by such a specific and confined portion of one genre of media (manga) which itself is not a representation of Japan by ANY means. None of my friends or family would do this. If you come from and associate with such people, please leave SB and go be with them. As for your poll to get... the president of Mandarake I guess to "take notice"... what an idiotic idea. Good luck finding anyone here to join your hentai banning agenda.

I see stuff on the net constantly I would prefer not to see even in the most seemingly innocuous places, it's an assumed hazard. Ignore it and move on.

I doubt anyone here reads those comics but you need to grow a pair or quit browsing Mandarake.

You are showing zero respect to the cultural differences (no matter how extreme they are perceived) and making no friends by whining about it!

I see from your profile that you make a habit of talking shite and deleting it en masse . . . I fear this will be another of those instances!

I disagree. Its an international site and if any of the items are illegal to view its my right & everyone else's right to complain and it shouldn't even be in toy shops in the first place.

Nothing to see here. (Dont worry I wont write topics anymore!)

What exactly are you lot trying to say? you actually read those comics and buy those swimsuit DVDs or just being arseholes? none of you have been responsible enough to shown any support against it yet in the last few comments.

Illegal? What are they doing that is Illegal? Incidentally Mandarake is a manga shop that sells toys, not the other way around, though I don't know who you are to decide what they should and shouldn't sell regardless.

Why should there be support against it? I believe in free speech and anyone should be able to buy read whack off to whatever they want. We aren't talking exploited children, snuff or sex slaves here, we are talking graphic illustrations.

On a side note, "nonce" is a cute word. I hadn't heard it before. If I were a sex offender, I would totally describe myself as "nonce-identified".
