Yeah, something was off... especially that my photos are mostly terrible.
And the names are all different, on the email, on the flickr account, and handle. So what's the point of that scam?

Someone sent a message to me over at flickr saying they want to buy my photos. Which I find really odd, has some else experienced this? Is there a possibility that it's some kind of scam? |

It's a scam. I received this offer also to buy my photos for $60 a piece for a blog but to contact them directly from their so called email account. The flickr account was created the same day I received the message. |

probably one of those ones where they either 1. ask for your bank account info to "deposit a check" or 2. send you a check for way more then they are paying you, and ask you to cash it and send them the extra money. The second scenario is fairly common, but usually banks catch the bad check before it's cashed. |
