Rick with a silent 'P'. Weird timing . . . i've just been reading his autobiography.  This was very unexpected news. I was always a big fan ever since The Young Ones. Wonder if he tried to kill himself with laxative pills. The Young Ones is such an important part of my life and Mayall never disappointed me. I hope he'd appreciate it it when I scream "YOU SELFISH BASTARD, RICK!!" |

Damn. I can practically recite verbatim every line of The Young Ones. I still watch the dvd's all the time. Such a brilliant comedian, the People's Poet will be missed. Also love his work as bassist in the legendary metal band Bad News  " I'm cleverer than all of you cause i'm the bass player in this band ! " |
