There's a zine festival happening here in Brisbane next week so I figured now is a good time to start up a toy zine (probably a little last minute..) and get it printed up for the show. Looks like I'm gonna have to print issue #1 and issue #2 at the same time thanks to the great amount of responses I've gotten for it. The interviews are all pretty basic, I'm sure you guys know most of the information in them.. there's a standard set of introductory questions and a couple of personalized ones thrown in. The zine is more to introduce underground toys to people around my town and get these guys some more customers in Australia. There's about 40 interviews all up including Yamomark, Zoomoth, Brian Flynn, Josh H., Monster Worship, Splurrt, Skullmark, Grizlli Atom, Bwana, October Toys, Paul Kaiju, Gary Ham, Skinner, and Joseph Harmon. I'll post some pages once it's printed next week! |

Zines are always great to have even if you know all the info in them. Print extras for all us know it alls.

There are a couple of guys that have interviews lined up who produce micros (hint??) so maybe that could actually work!! I'll hit em up.. Would be cool to have something tiny and light staples to the cover.. Great idea

Issue 2 is being put together now! I was aiming to get it done for a comic-con that's happening this weekend but there's no time to get it finished and printed. If there are any toymakers who are reading this and would like to do a quick interview for #3, just send me a PM! |

Are you focusing on vinyl stuff for every issue or do you have different types of stuff for different issues? |
