Thanks for being a mod and actually doing mod work!

Me thinks it's time to get new mods. Considering several of them don't regularly check the boards these days.(More than half)

Anyway James thanks for doing what you do!

James, when someone asks you if you are a god, you say 'Yes.' There is only one answer.

I know I have said it before, but thanks so much for all of your ongoing efforts James. Your changes on the board, and still even more behind the scenes, have brought this place up from the dregs. Some of us, like myself, are reluctant to change, but I am grateful for the selfless work you have given to the board itself as well as the SB community. Cheers to James!

Great job James on being a parent and caring for us little kids playing with our kaiju toys. And kicking the bullies in their nuts and throwing them out of the jungle gym.

James is indeed the man. Anyone who can bring a modicum of order to this unruly bunch (self included) deserves kudos.

Thanks James.

So........Anyway new mods James? I remember when I first joined there were some mods and they rotated or switched out after a few years. If you look at the current list.

Mods with an active presence:
Brian (really busy obviously)
Josh (really busy obviously)
James
Carl
Kris

Kirkland and Jeb post infrequently but have real lives and probably don't have time to mod

Mods who are present but don't really Mod (aka correct people, lock threads, add a ton of info to threads...more like super fans)
plastichunter
leecifer
coma21

MIA mods
SeanB= logs in but last post 2011
Bryan Anarchy=logs in but last post 2011
Cliff-2012

Anyone on here that has an overriding need to correct people, lock threads, and add a ton of info to threads is more than welcome to my mod position. I've had it way to long anyway and to be perfectly honest am much more comfortable in the role of "super fan." :)

I assume Leecifer is probably really busy with his customs + toys as well. Wasn't there a Picklebaby custom show recently/coming up?

That being said, James is definitely on top of things. That thread got locked down fast. I'm almost sorry it did.

Doesn't that discussion pop up regularly?

James indeed does a great job. All other mods are likely great people and all, but are not actually doing much moderating at all.

Question is, who would? If Stephen's back, I think he has the right mix of knowledge/patience/involvement but I can't say that any other name comes to mind... :?

I nominate myself to be super mod and lord over the entire forum.

First thing I'm doing is locking the photo association thread. All these newbs driving their post counts into the thousands, F'in rediculous.

Aww, that thread is fun. :( Is there a way to make that thread not count towards post counts?

I was really just joking. Carry on with the photo associations.
