a close friend of mine is obsessed with old robot figures. i was thumbing thru issue 10 of s7 and came across the Robby the Robot article. my friend has some crazy robot tattoos on him(the robot styles from the 50's, etc) but doesnt own any of the toys. i want to get him one or two for his upcoming birthday, but i dont know shit about them. can anyone recommend a good place to start that i could maybe purchase one or two. i would love some vintage stuff, but i have no idea what is good or bad, what would make a nice starting figure, etc. many thanks ahead of time. |
