Yo, how's everybody been? I'm feeling talkative, so I decided to be vulnerable and make an "Ask Me Anything" thread. So Go for it-Ask me something you've always wanted to. Do your worst.

Should I take the pirate tranny name "Rufi Anne" and give up "Dinah Soar"?

No, and since today is Transgender Day of Visibility I will take this opportunity to point out that "tranny" is a pretty fucked up derogatory word to be used in a public forum. Most transgender people and their allies would consider it on par with racial slurs used toward people of color.

Oh, and also my best friend is married to a trans dude, so naw man. This ain't the place for that shit.

Movin' right along. next question-hopefully one requiring a less finger waggy response!

Lol, I would have never thought it was an insult. But I have the issue that nothing is an insult unless it is meant to be. I think that's from hanging around to many different groups that tend to insult themselves playfully. But seriously, no insult meant.

Cool, in which case, thanks for helping me to educate someone else who might not realize that.

I was expecting the answer to be some kind of Einstein ~ Rosen bridge, but fair enough.

OOH I love this one! Ok-I come from a pretty large family, and I had a teenage mom, which means most of what I owned and played with were hand me downs from her 7 siblings (I credit them for every vintage thing I love today).

Namely, I remember getting the following hand-me downs from my aunts who were teenagers in the 60s and had outgrown these things, so they were given to me in the 80s:

Eden Lamps-SO COOL

Image
Bradley Doll from Korea

Image
Eden prints
I specifically remember staying in their spare room and staring at the two prints on the right as a little girl.

I also played with my mom's Liddle Kiddle dolls, which some classify as "Big eye" :)

I have since re-bought all of these things as an adult! HAHA

Those Eden lamps are excellent 8)

My question.

Why is it, when i was younger, all car drivers on the roads would indicate /signal
when they made a turn but nowadays the majority of car drivers don't bother?

It might be just a UK thing, but i notice it a lot and it just bugs me no end
. . . grumble . . . grumble . . .

I don't know-You may find this unbelievable, but I am 38 and I don't drive! Things like this are probably the reason why!

Do you believe in karma and turning the other cheek so the universe can magically sort itself out or is that all bullshit and I should just exact revenge myself and skull fuck my enemies?

By nature I'm pretty non-confrontational in my own life, but that's my issue. If you are not, I'm pro skull-fuck!

How young were you when you were taken to your first Kiddie Park and what's your strongest memory from that day?

I'll answer this one for you. It's not just a UK thing it's everywhere. Two-fold answer: A) It is a generational thing and I'm not just pointing fingers at millenials (even though they are incredibly self absorbed). People my age (Gen X) failed to teach (whether they be parents, teachers, road instructors) or stress the importance of how your road behavior (i.e. not using signals) effects other drivers. B) Non generational answer: Life convenience (i.e not having to do everything manually, ability to find information in seconds, etc) has made the world fucking utterly lazy. So much so, basic shit is forgotten. Like maybe you still need to manually use your turn signals and your car can't read your mind yet (nor other drivers).

And yes this pisses me off to no end as well.

I want to know about your profile picture! I know absolutely jacksquat about it, and it reminds me of Cruella Deville, if she was a baby doll.

Why are there not as many female collectors compared to male collectors?
