What I told him that he should do is talk with SB and BxH about carrying clothes! Or even doing something exclusive to the store. Imagine having the opportunity to get SB clothing / apparel at a more reasonable price and availability! KW |

compared to the toys they make the fashion line seems to be even more ambitious to me! |

notice that most of the men's hoodies are sold out, while most of the women's (of which less where made) are available. this clearly proves that women have more sense. |

Only when Ramos is out of the country... but since it's more of a "ha ha - look at what those silly KR people are doing" kinda thread, it's probably okay. |

Supply and demand just doesn't justify a price drop. Same thing with Supreme. It's a boutique market and I think they want to keep it at that level. Also carrying that stuff might not be so great for him because it's an apparel market. Completely different from the regular toy nerds that go in there. They're rocking rags to pay for their vynil habit. Just my analysis though. |

I believe Ramos has stated that this board was partly created for "cutdowns", so I would assume that talking shit about the KR clothing line would fall under that and be allowed. |

Span charge Jp retail for BxH - and it sells, but to a different crowd than the toy guys (plus its not flying off the shelves as far as I know). All tees are expensive in Japan, the same Stussy tee as here which goes for $20, is 5,000yen plus over there. The only brand who charges less for their gear here is Shocker via Shocker worldwide....which must be annoying for Jp fans of the brand. |

I would be very reluctant to buy SB, BxH or whatever clothing without being able to try it on first, I like it but the sizing can be pretty weird and it's pricey for stuff that might not even fit right. |

hm well the internet said "meh" but the bape/sneaker/hype-eating crowd apparently went crazy. Theres no reason why this line can't be awesome (other than the price), I dont know of any other company that lets artists design hoodys like they do platform toys. I like the concept, just not the designs. I might be in the minority but I have some hope left for future series'. |

I dont understand fashion myself. I am basically just always wearing the same comfy shit for 15 years. my only major 'statement' was trading DR Martins for sneakers back around 1990 and that was trauma enough. My girlfriend is really into clothes, she will spend 800 bucks on a bounty hunter jacket at the drop of a hat or 250 on a Cali sweater...and she didnt like most of the KR line, as she like 'punky' fashion....I have asked her why to buy this expensive clothes and she explains that: 1. no one else at her job has it, or even knows it exists until she wears it. 2. it is 'punk' influenced in a 'goofy mall way' that appeals to her sese of irony. 3. It allows her to bring home a tiny slice of 'Japanese Fantasy World Fashion' the 50 weeks a year she is not in Tokyo...but whats funny is, when we go to Japan she never wears the stuff. And yes, KR clothing is meant to appeal to 'lifestyle accessory' people . not toy collectors..and they consider the line a success. |
