| Post subject: | Toy Tokyo lack of service and fucked up attitude |
I bought 5 items from Toy Tokyo and then never received any update on my order except the first email that I did order these items. After 2 weeks I went back into the link to find out that the order was cancelled. I emailed them asked politely why my order was cancelled and on one line they replied that they were waiting on my confirmation as to what shipping to choose to send to me. They never sent me any emails, and the first email already picked EMS global shipping. So I replied that I have done that and that they didn't even bother checking. I added that their service is probably one of the worst experiences of online toy shopping I have ever had. Their reply on the next email "oh boo hoo." What kind of fucked up online service is this??? I am fucking mad now. And yes I ordered stuff S7 don't have. Some Hino and other dolls. |

this isn't a comment on their etiquette or service, but they'd lose customers if they sold instore only items over the phone. |

as far as i know Lev likes to make money so I bet if you forward these rude emails from his employees to him at levtokyo@aol.com and tell him 'hey guess what I aint spendin no more with you' he might do something about it. |

lifeintoys, I don't know about that personally, since S7 doesn't have instore items that I know about/want, and they're my primary source. But making something "instore only" is pretty cheesy if you're going to sell it on the phone as well, to persons not in the store. Had I ordered a set online from the portion they set aside for web orders, gotten cancelled, and then read on a messageboard that all you have to do is call and be personable to get said sold out except for instore item, I'd be pissed. Not everyone has time to call places and see if they'll "hook you up". Some people just go with the flow when something says not for sale or instore only, and if they're made to feel silly or cheated for following rules, they turn into disgruntled customers. |

I knew someone here would know the big guy at TT. after some thinking, i would rather not have him know and lose many customers makes me a happier ex-customer. customers usually only need to complain once and if nothing gets resolved (in this case handled so rudely) we all go elsewhere. |

I'd bust up if Lev's email response was: "What part of 'oh boo hoo' from my last email did you not understand?" |

You have a rare opportunity to notify the head of the company about your problem with just a click of the mouse, and you are choosing instead to just gripe in public about it. This does nothing for your cause, or anyone else's. very well put |

roger is specifically referring to not informing the management about the way the store is run, with the intent to allow the store to lose more business to make clam a happier ex customer. he is not referring to publicly discussing lack of customer service and etiquette. |

The "Oh boo hoo" thing is what of course pisses me off the most. My only experience with TT are the FC Halloween set and @ SDCC. I can say the TT staff were all very very nice and helpful a the con, except for Lev. And then for the halloween set no keychains/fresheners (which they may not have gotten but should have stated so on their site) Clam if I were you I'd call Lev and talk to him about this. I REALLY hope he's not the one that wrote the "oh boo hoo" crap. I'd never even visit their site again. |

I called them because i used my head and they never reply to my emails the phone was the only option and for the record I made time out of my day to call the states and sit on the phone for 5 mins, dont feel bad about it............ |
