So I will be in SF (Cupertino actually but I will have a car) for 3 weeks for work. From Nov 26 - Dec 12 What should I do... I am looking to buy toys, eat vegan food, and generally be a maniac... So unless Frank wants an intern/gopher for 3 weekends I will need some stuff to do.. any suggestions? Super 7 is a given. |

I give both Herbivora and Millenium the "wack" call. For the best mock meat in the bay, head over to Enjoy Vegetarian at 19th/Kirkham in the city out in the avenues. A lot of people like Golden Era, but I am not a big fan. Great Wall over on the border of Berkely/Oakland is also amazing. If you let us know when you want to meet up, we can all meet up at the store, get some food, look at some toys, you know the deal.... |

Oh yeah, vegan sausage off the grill at Rosamunde in lower Haight, or Boca Philly cheesesteaks at Metro Burger in lower haight, or Jay's in the mission or on divisadero. Barney's has great tofu burgers (actually, really good, not hippy at all) and have 5-6 location throughout the bay area. |

i'm not a fan of golden era either. all my friends rave about it. it's just ehh chinese. chaya over in berkeley is incredible, but it is so damn small in there. |
