Michael Richards' career is finished. Or I would hope it's finished. Kramer, the one-trick pony, completely snapped... http://www.tmz.com/2006/11/20/kramers-racist-tirade-caught-on-tape/ |

I saw that right before lunch. Done, done, done. I want to know how much he had to drink? Because it didn't sound like anything. People started bailing like it was a Great White concert. He was actually really funny in UHF, the weird Al movie. |

That was pretty crappy of him. I question whether this is even newsworthy though. Famous people say disgusting shit every day. Look at rappers, for example. Many of them make a living saying disgusting shit. |

Many of them make a living saying disgusting shit. Come on now, that was a fucked up confrontational situation involving a celebrity caught on video, I wouldn't exactly equate it to offensive rap lyrics, if a rapper did something comparable in a public setting and was caught on video it would most likely show up in some type of media. And besides that seems like a celebrity news based website, in which case that's exactly the kind of thing that would be newsworthy. |

the dude was obviously on something. I mean, I really don't think, even if you were a mega-racist, that you would just fly off the handle and start with all that for no reason. you can tell that something is making him off his rocker in that video. |

I don't think hardly any of the "news" about stars is newsworthy, and I don't see why supposedly reputable news stations/websites bother with this kind of garbage. If I wanted to read about stars, I'd buy People magazine. I'm sick of hearing about Britney, K-Fed, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Tom Cruise, etc. |

Ha ha - I interviewed him fot the Onion earlier this year, and I think he's that intense pretty much all the time; no drugs needed. Intelligent guy, though - definitely not just a nutcase. |

he couldn't even be a funny racist bigot... at least say something over the top to get a cheap laugh so you can try to say you're doing it "for the sake of comedy". terrible transition to standup |

'Kramer' apologizes for racist tirade P.S. In case I haven't made it clear, I'm criticizing national news stations/websites, NOT the person who started this thread. I'm just constantly shocked at what the media deems fit for national news. It's pretty pathetic. |

I just thought it was interesting to see a cultural icon (not mine but for many people he is) completely lose it. BTW, I follow national, political and world news. |
