Is anyone going to see this movie which is coming out tommorow?

If you are or are not familiar with the story behind the movie this looks like it should be a real good movie to check out.

Hits very close to home for me.

From what I have heard the story is basically the same but they changed the location from Santa Barbara to Palm Springs and all names of the people were changed.

Jesse Hollywood = Johnny Truelove (crappy name)

Why do you have no desire to see this? Just curious. It is supposed to be a very good movie from some of the reviews I have seen.

why does a "vocalist" (who incidently compared himself to bowie with this album) use major industrial style distortion on a track and sing mostly in some weird combo of falsetto with a fat man making noises behind him?

i have no desire to see it either, although i remember this story being on unsolved mysteries lol

I grew up in the same neighborhood and knew all of them from when they were younger kids. Yeah, I knew them personally. Very insightful comment though Subt... maybe before you post something ignorant like that you could think beforehand.

This movie sounds extra corny....
I grew up with mad white kids who wished they were latino and black gangsters...
c'mon now....I remember when they showed this corny kid on Americas Most Wanted...talking about Lowriders and how he rides....Gimme a Break.....
Trying to act hard because they play gangster in their disneyland neighborhoods.....c'mon Santa Barbara....it might as well be Pacific Palisades....
Wait ...just rent the movie Havoc instead......pretty much the same story line....
White kids co-opting other peoples cultures because they want something different...
This Jesse James kid tried to play gangster for real and got done in....
The whole storyline sounds like an afterschool special.....gimme a break
How many movies do they make about kids getting shot in some hood?
None, but because it was some white "gangster", we get a movie....Americas Most Wanted....man this shit is extra corny
Forget this man...I gonna watch "Bood In, Blood Out" ese.....
