| Post subject: | SNOW DAY! |
Oh man, I can't remember the last time I've had a snow day! About 6" have dropped since 5am. Woke up, unaware, looked out the window and thought "Ah shit, now I gotta take the bus to work". Turned on the TV, watched the news for a bit and decided to call in. Walked the wife to work with the dog and stopped by the dog park on the way back home - gotta let the dog enjoy it too! Now I'm back home all warm, drinking Basil Hayden's and doing a little work on a painting. Gotta love the snow day! Any other Portlanders stay home today? (Any other Portlanders on the board?) How's it in Seattle, Shape? |

Yeah, it's all gone. When I went to work, it looked like 'Sconnie, but now it's just water.... |

That's a shame...but that's what we usually get here in the NW. When i was watching the news this morning (7:30) they said the snow would stop in 60-90 minutes and then melt off this afternoon. Well, it kept snowing through 1:30, and I haven't seen any meltage yet. But I imagine tomorrow will be ugly. I'll probably be bus-bound at least for tomorrow. |
