Alright ,I have decided to start collecting some of these japanese toy's,I have been checking out tha super7 site and I am really diggin this stuff,I actually kinda like tha japanese monsters better than tha secretbase stuff, but my problem is I don't know where to start! I thought about maybe starting out with tha Blobpus and Blobpi pieces,I find these to be really appealing,so if anybody could give me a few suggestions I would appreciate it...Yes I have decided to join tha darkside,to hell with all that designer shit I have almost sold off everything I have ever bought, except my CP's,I will always be a CP freak..So please lead me down this glorious road of japanese kaiju.... |

Buy the new Ultraman box sets of the TV show from the 60's. Once you see them move and their quirky attacks it should make you focus on a couple of different monsters and see how you go. www.clubtokyo.org has a pretty comprehensive list of different kaiju by different companies etc. Also, try and get hold of some back issues of S7 to see their write-ups on various shows/films and the related toys. |
