There's just so much to say about this. I think we can all agree that there's nothing wrong with buying toys or movie props. But then you learn about the minimum wage job, and the debt she's taken on to acquire this stuff, and the all-pizza diet. This is true otaku shit. The ultimate irony is when she talks about how the Turtles taught her to follow her own heart, and then she did that by giving her life over to a comic book that someone else created, following a path that will surely lead to financial and physical ruin. |
