hey dude... which of those lionsgate horrorfest movies would you recommend? they are all out on dvd this week so i'm gonna add something to my netflix. thanks dude |

I didn't really get to see too many of them because it all happened when I was staying with a certain skullbrainer and his dog who live in LA, remember? The Gravedancers is supposedly good, I heard it from a reputable source. I like one of the directors other films, so I say check that out. I saw The Abandoned when it was re-released to theaters. it was already, pretty creepy and big on atmosphere, but nothing really super terrifying or groundbreaking plotwise. DON'T see Reincarnation. boring piece of crap that's just a rehash of more asian little girl ghosts. they really need to give it up. I think Takashi Shimizu is really hit or miss. the Ju-On stuff was decent when it came out, but now he's totally beating it into the ground. I liked Marebito a lot though, something totally different and original. I don't know why he doesn't do more stuff like that? I'm gonna rent some of them when they come out tomorrow as well, so if you haven't added any by then, I'll let you knwo what I think of some of the others. |
