Here is an image I just finished coloring for the new SCUD: OMNI-BOOK Cover. Rob Schrab the creator of Scud after a 10 year hiatus away from the comic book industry has finally taken a break from Hollywood (Sarah Silverman Show, Monster House, Heat Vision and Jack, and Robot Bastard) to write and illustrate Scud #21 the last issue of the series. All of the SCUD issues from #1-21 will be collected in one large book with a couple of extra surprises thrown in. I am not sure how many of the board members here collect comics or even collected comics in the 1990's, but Scud: the Disposable Assasin, was one of the landmark independent comics that took the self-publishing arena by storm. It was a really cool for me to work with Rob again 10 years later (I did a lot of coloring for him and Fireman Press back in the 90's). If you want a fun enjoyable read featuring Robots, Giant Monsters, and Zombies with the occasional cute chick thrown in for good measure, I highly encourage you to pick up this book. Enjoy, Jack |

You ask on a toy forum whether the members collect comics? I definitely remember SCUD from back in the 90s, but I was more into the more mainstream titles back then. I do remember being intrigued by the main character's design, however. Great job on the inks for the cover art. I'm in for a copy. |

Awesome, I've got a trade paperback or two of collected issues. Loved the artwork in it, so fluid. I used to collect, and then work in a comic shop, hoping to one day be an illustrator, those dreams are on hold |
