War Dragon


As part of Tim's "Ether" exhibition at Billy Shire Fine Arts in Culver City he has produced an edition of his "Dragamel" vinyl figure that includes custom-cast miniature pewter weapons and pieces of other Dragamel figures that have been specially produced and then mutilated.

There are 25 figures in the edition. Each one is signed and numbered and comes in a stenciled tin box.

^^ that billy shire site says, "These items can only be purchased in person at the gallery. There will be no email, phone or online orders taken until a later date."

I assume that means the other 15 will be available online some time in the future.

Is it an expensive toy or is it an affordable sculpture?

I agree with both "more interesting and creative", but I do like the Wood idea also.

I didn't get the Wood Bear, but would consider this piece. Okay I considered it and I wouldn't pay $800 for it even with the killer guns :!:

i would def have to say expensive toy.
though it does have more elements to it than most vinyl pieces...
and is limited to 25...and is signed...yada yada yada...
still wouldn't call it an affordable sculpture myself.

however, it is very cool and congrats to anyone who can afford to scoop it!
