That's a killer eyezon! Strangeco or not, I can only see good things for this sculpt. I have the GID version and find myself unable to keep my hands away from. The new colorway with innards is definitely a must have. |

I was hoping for a clear version but I don't really like the gold spray much. Hopefully there will be a unpainted version for the maxtoy club folks and hopefully I am at my computer when the email is sent. |

good lord! that is one beautiful spud ![]() Well, I think it's going to be okay for them to go with StrangeCo. At least they haven't sucked the life out of the market by doing "designer" toys and still (somewhat) stick to fan collector ideals. |

At least as far as I can recall, the quality of items released by Strangeco has been top notch. |

I got in touch with StrangeCo and was told they will not be selling this version. So, those interested should get a hold of Mr. Nagata, I guess. |

I don't think StrangeCo will affect the Maxtoy stuff in any way since SC doesn't have anything to do with the manufacturing part of the toy. They are just acting as the distributor for the line. |

Yeah... I think the subject line should be "Strangeco gets picked up by MaxToyco." |

Taro wrote: Pogue wrote: I thought this figure was made in China. Am I wrong? And your point is....? it is made in china, like all of strangeco other products. Seem like a perfect fit to me. I do wonder what the clear vinyl will be like. I hope it is nicer than the veil and dero clears are. |

I don't know, but e-mail them yourself if you don't believe me for some reason. StrangeCo. doesn't necessarily sell a lot of their products on their web site. Mark did say that they will be on the MaxToy site towards the end of the month / early next month. |

It says pretty clearly on the Max Toy homepage that Strangeco is handling wholesale distribution of Max Toy items (yet Max Toy will also continue selling the same items directly to collectors through the Max Toy site). Not sure where people are getting the idea that Strangeco is involved with production. |
