YOUR UGLYDOLL AND YOU! Do you have a photo of you with your Uglydoll? Get that photo developed and post it up on the wall at Uglycon! Can't go? Mail it in! We want to see photos of you with your Uglydolls. When we take down the show in January, we will pick one photo as the "winner"and the reward will be.... WHAT? Well more than you can imagine! I better. You will! Anyway.... Come to the opening. Hang your photo up at Uglycon. Come on the last day! Hang your photo. Write to GR SF! Send in your photo via SNAIL MAIL! It will go up on the wall. On the final day we will pick one and that person will win the ultimate Ugly prize. Dude! This prize is UGLY! Really, it is THE ULTIMATE Ugly prize. So how do you win? We all win. (It's 100% random I think.) |

I wish I was in town. Not onky for the RxH fest, but for Uglycon. Ugly Dolls rule and so does Mr. Horvath. |

I just drove by SF Giant Robot, where the Uglycon will be tomorrow. At 9pm, Friday, December 7, there were already 3 "tween" girls sitting cold on the sidewalk outside the store's door in line for tomorrow night. Amazing. I live around here and would never have a child of mine on the street, especially 1/2 block off Haight Street and a block from Golden Gate Park for any collectable. Pretty hardcore uglies! I also called the store today and spoke to the manager. They will give out tickets to those in line, according to their position in line, around 2-4pm tomorrow. I thought I would go with my son, but it may be a madhouse. Doesn't David know that kids will be exposed to the weather (and much much more)? They told me today also that they wanted to have a "little bit of a line" just to show the "seriousness" of the event. I hope no one gets assaulted or worse overnight. Perhaps we should get some skullbrainers to go by tonight, just to scare them with the kaiju attitude? Guess not. |

I gave those kids and their parents my hotel room around the corner and stayed somewhere else so they wouldn't freeze and they lost their place in line. We passed out tickets so we could do away with the line so no idea why they told you we wanted a line. DYBBUKIM wrote: I just drove by SF Giant Robot, where the Uglycon will be tomorrow. It's weird for sure, even more so for me since I'm used to the 20's right now. I'm not complaining, I hate shoveling! |
