from vinylpulse:

Martin Ontiveros has invited a few of his friends to create interpretations of his Ojo Rojo character for his Rock 'n Roll Fantasy show which opens tonight (2.1.08) from 6 to 9 PM @ Grass Hut. Thanks to Grass Hut here's a preview of several of the artist pieces for those of you who aren't lucky enough to live in Portland. The guest pieces range from paintings to custom versions of the very first edition (clear white) of Martin's new larger (5.5") Ojo Rojo figure from Gargamel which makes its US debut during the opening. Martin also customized his baby and the result is Ojo Stardust (above). Many more pictures after the jump.

I read on his flickr that he's trying to have one produced as close as possible to this so if you can't get one commissioned you can start crossing your fingers that the production version happens

i'm curious to see how gargamel would pull off a very "western" paint app...anyone else? :?:

I don't think they'll be swinging that way. Gargamel will most likely stick to their own style because that's what they're all about.
