I kinda lost interest when Jarvis dropped the World of Pain and started on the Vortigens Machine stuff . . . and these ain't pulling me back any!

The character observations in the In-Crowd sets are killer though . . . fingers crossed they ain't scrapped forever!

He seems to be into "sparse" character design these days. I remember Brian F saying he thought Yod was devoid of personality. They're interesting but i dont think id sink the dough on em if i could. Personally I think the Vortigerns Machine figs are super nice.

everything that made me love both the original World of Pain figs and the In Crowd sets (and even that promo figure he did last year based on one of the original capsule kids) is absent in almost all the new stuff. I have passed on every V.M. toy, and only got a few yods, mostly out of nostalgia for liking the guy's work.

I'm really hoping he does more In Crowd, as there are so many other things he could do with it...

I agree about the In-Crowd being unsurpassed, but I really like these a lot. Any idea what size they are?

These look like they have a lot magic in em. I really wish the ouroboros was on the purple, as orange is a real turn off for me in toys, and the ouroboros makes it. If this were GID I would maybe pick one up.

I feel this is appropriate to post here;

JJ drew this for me a few years back. Really bummed everyone out that was in line behind me. However, JJ didn't seem to care. Very, very cool cat.
