This is an amazing figure. Mars is the man but beyond that Brin (the sculptor) is just phenomenal. I mean look at those hands. |

I really like Mars1's paintings. The figures are cool but they just seem out of place outside the context of the painting. |

I really love Mario's land/space-scape paintings...don't particularly dig his character-based paintings, but I like some of his figures. I dunno that I'd buy one, but this could look pretty nice with the right color application. |

Thanks for the heads-up, Jeff! I hadn't checked his site in a few weeks (cos it's never updated), so I didn't realize he had a show coming up so soon! |

The gallery description says these are in bronze which means big $$$. Anyone know for sure if there will be a vinyl painted version? |

Mario said he had a couple of toys in the pipeline, including a real big ass piece . . . this has a ton of detail so fingers are crossed it could be this guy |

Here's some pics from Mars-1 show ... if you think these photos suck, ask hiro for some pics (he had a nicer camera when i saw him there) really liked this one... looks like something i saw in one of my calculus books ![]() ![]() i was tempted to get one of these. $950/ea and editions of 10. the minor details on the flower stuff around the face & around the arm joints were a little spotty, but still very cool ![]() apparently hiro's girl broke off a piece from the top of the head to try and hang it on his lip ring. the gallery then confiscated his hat until he glued it back on. ![]() this thing is the shit. very detailed and clean.. but bronze and very pricey ![]() ![]()

I really like these new paintings. There seems to be more colors in his work compared to the last time I saw his stuff months ago or at least more vibrant colors. |

I like his paintings Bert. Very Murakamish. Completely different than what i'm used to from him. |
