in the description on the maxtoyco website it says it was recreated from that one vintage piece they could find...kinda a cool figure but ultramanish too |

Hi Guys, Wow, thats funny ... well actually the sculpt was done in China, the head is based on a cross between me and my son's face ... so I guess we equal the AGDuo ! Who knew ? Design based on the classic Bullmark human head.. however the sculptor made the ehad a bit smaller ( opver all ) than I would have liked, but I think this was due to the molding process. But I'm happy with the actual product. Regarding Captain Maxx ... it's made up by me. If you follow the trail from the begining I tried to make it so that as you read it it gets more fantastic ( ie made up ) as you go along. Coupled with "cheesy" supporting photos ( the tin robot ... really looks "bad " ) and such... anyways none of this to be taken too seriously.. and of course no one would be able to find a "real" vintage Maxx figure from the 70's 
The current ordering is for Pre Orders ... the figures are now sitting on the dock of Oakland ( across from SF ) awaiting a truck to ship them to me here. I expect them around Friday. So whoever has ordered, we'll be shipping all weekend long. I don't anticipate any delays but if there any I will post here, on the Max Toy Co site as well as email everyone who has ordered thus far. We've pre sold 1/3 of this color run... so I don't expect many to be left by Comic Con. Also, I don't always have time to check all the boards, but I appreciate all the emails of support ... more toys coming real soon ! Mark |

thanks ! yes...monsters in production as we speak ! but thats all I can say for now ... plus we'll have a tiny booth at San Diego Comic Con..so stop by and say Hi if your attending...plus Max Toy Club members will have something waiting for them

If you are a Max Toy Club member and can not attend, do not worry... we will mail "it" to you after the convention. By the way, finally had all the Captain Maxx's delivered today..so will be shipping like a mad man over the next few days..but it's all good
