Seems the cat is wriggling out of the bag, so here's the dope:

Mark Nagata of MAX TOYS and I will be doing a joint custom release in a few days.

Mark made 10 hand painted custom Night gamers and I made 10 hand painted custom Eyezons. Both the Eyezon and Night Gamer have a motion activated color changing LED unit inside and each figure is signed and numbered.

I have only 2 of each figure left to offer on a first come first served basis.

The price is *$310. for each figure.
*includes shipping within the US.

Please send me an email at bob@plaseebo.net with what you wish to order by 12:00 midnight Monday September 15th and I will email you to confirm your order by the following Tuesday.

*If any figures are not pre-sold, they will be offered on our websites later next week with announcements on Vinyl Pulse, Plastic and Plush etc.

Is it just me, or does Night Gamer have a distinct Anraku feel to it? Very cool. Wish it was the pair for that price, but still...very cool.

I've never seen an Anraku piece up close, but from photos I'd say that might be a fair comparison. I think maybe it's the textural quality of the Night Gamer that evokes that feeling.

The Gamer looks like it has ball bearings for eyes, I wonder if previous versions did.

Hey Guys,

Thank you all for your enthusiastic comments. They are very much appreciated.

The eyes in Marks Night Gamer custom are metallic fumed red glass and while they appear like chrome in daylight, when they are lit from inside by the LED unit, the eyes are clear cherry red. A very cool effect,

Also please note Mark and I have decided to include a signed limited edition print of my Eyezon color drawing as a bonus for those purchasing both the Eyezon and Night Gamer as a SET.

The Night Gamer is 6 1/2" high.
Not sure of the print size yet, but I hope it will be in the 16" X 20" range. I will be talking to the printer today.

I have both figures and Bob's Night Gamer is totally original.

The texture is nothing like Anraku's.

Both are great!
