I like his 2D art, but I don't think his paintings translate very well into 3D sculpts - especially in cheap vinyl. |

Looks like maybe the head is articulated at the neck...not to say it redeems this at all, but that's a swell innovation on the 'bust' idea. Or something. |

the painting (and prints of it) of lincoln/obama was striking visually, and politically/historically interesting and relevant. i dont think the bust has nearly the same effect. ron english's mastery of the brush did not seem to translate into sculpture. |

i like his work and the print but it didnt transfer well to a bust. It hardly looks like it. I would still get it if i had the 200 to spend right now. |
